FAQ's for Opus Plasma

Opus Plasma uses high-frequency unipolar radiofrequency energy to create tiny channels in the skin and jumpstart its natural collagen production through a wound-healing response.  This technique is similar to microneedling, except that it uses microplasma technology and is the first of its kind.

In most cases you will notice a difference after one treatment. However, depending on your skin type/tone and concerns follow-up treatments are required for optimal results. 

We recommend 2-4 treatments depending on skin tone/type and concerns. Some patients may require more. 

Hydration is particularly important prior to your treatment. Hydration also helps yield best results, so we ask that you start increasing your water intake 5 days before treatment.

Depending on skin type and treatment, the downtime is 50% less than any traditional resurfacing treatment on the market. The average is 1-2 days but can be quicker depending on skin.

Results will typically last for many years despite the natural aging process. This however is based on skin type and treatment concerns.

The Opus is used to target some large or small areas on the body. Some areas include face, neck, chest, hands, legs, and abdomen.

When you arrive to your appointment a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to prevent discomfort. When treatment is complete we will apply a treatment cream to the area. You may experience slight swelling and redness that can last up to 48 hours.

We advise avoiding any direct or artificial sunlight and to apply minimal SPF 50 when outdoors. Please allow 24 hours before exercise and 48 hours for any other activities.
