Please shave and clean the area being treated. Do not apply any creams or lotions to the skin prior to treatment. Do not pluck or wax the the hair at least 4 weeks prior to the appointment.
Although we cannot speak for other laser hair removal technologies, we use the award-winning Soprano ICE Laser hair removal for painless hair reduction. The Soprano ICE handpiece is designed to target hair follicles with tiny high-heat laser beams and has a built in cooling system for the treated area.
A few days before your consultation, do not shave, wax or remove the hair in the treatment area. It helps the technician to see the thickness and amount of hair that’s to be treated. With our client’s permission, photos may be taken for comparison at the end of the series of treatments.
According to the Mayo Clinic, most people need between four and six laser therapy sessions. You also need to space these out by four to six weeks each depending on the area treated. This means that the full treatment cycle can take up to nine months.
After your laser hair removal treatment, the treated hair should begin falling out after 10 to 14 days. The hair removal treatment is completed in sessions and can take between 15 and 60 minutes to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area.
