Not really. Dermo28 peels are considered “lunchtime peels’ ‘, which means you can return to your normal routine almost immediately after the procedure. You can even resume makeup application the same day, but it’s typically recommended to wait 24 hours. Perfect treatment before a weekend of events and parties.

Every client has a different pain tolerance. It is expected to feel a slight tingling or warming sensation. Some clients say it feels like their skin is just itchy, whereas others ask for the peel to be neutralized after only a few minutes. Hydration levels in the skin also drastically affect the way your central nervous system reacts to the peel. Your aesthetician will always work with you and adjust according to your comfort levels, to achieve your desired results.

Lunchtime peels provide noticeable, glowing results immediately post procedure. However, due to their light penetration depth, it is recommended to undergo 3-5 sessions to achieve desired results.

Wearing SPF 30 or higher, a hat, and remaining protected from the sun is strongly recommended. Freshly peeled skin will be sensitive to light and external factors. The sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays can severely damage skin, and actually cause an adverse effect on any skin concern post chemical peel. In order to improve your results, apply SPF diligently, and follow post care recommendations from your aesthetician
